Web Designer / Developer for a manufacturing company located in Brea, CA.

This is a Temporary position with an open duration to completion of the project. Should opportunities present themselves once the project is completed, this candidate will be considered. 100% ON SITE, Monday - Friday, 8:30 AM - 5:30 PM or 9:00 AM - 5:30 PM. Pay is $30-34/hr, depending on experience.

Essential Duties:

• Help complete the design and development of the company website.

Responsibilities:

• Translating strategic goals and creative visions into actionable design solutions.
• Focus will encompass branding, website development, marketing communications, research/strategy, design, and editing.
• Conceptualize designs independently for various digital or web projects.
• Contribute to WordPress website template production, website program development, and overall website planning.
• Play a role in back-end business logic development and background management system design and page construction.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to conceptualize and design user experiences, including mobile-responsive websites, digital campaigns, web applications, and creative marketing initiatives.
• Assist in the development and modification of WordPress plugins, ensuring compatibility with existing functions.
• Write and edit web and marketing content while adhering to brand standards.
• Establish and maintain well-organized image and file libraries.
• Provide professional web design, graphic design, audio/video support, and specialized multimedia assistance in the development, maintenance, and updating of graphic arts, multimedia, and digital marketing materials.
• Contribute to web-related and digital marketing projects within established timelines.
• Effectively manage time and workloads to ensure the timely production of high-quality creative projects.
• Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned.

Requirements:

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Web Design or related field is required
• Minimum of (2) years of professional web design/development experience.
• Proficient in relevant web front-end technologies, including Div+css, JavaScript, JQuery, HTML5, CSS3.
• Experience in responsive website design.
• Familiarity with Linux server environments, common commands, and the ability to configure PHP-based web environments such as WordPress and Drupal; familiarity with MYSQL or other databases.
• Experience in WordPress development, including theme development and modification, plugin modification. 
• Knowledge of web page performance optimization and SEO search engine optimization.
• Strong programming habits with a focus on code efficiency, delivering standardized, high-quality, and efficient code.
• Ability to quickly assimilate brand goals and seamlessly integrate the brand experience into designs.
• Ability to generate, articulate, and present creative ideas and strategies effectively.
• Strong project management skills, capable of managing multiple projects, priorities, schedules, and deliverables in a fast-paced environment.
• This role requires proficiency in visual design and brand-building,
  showcasing demonstrated skills and interest in online/web branding, design, and aligning creative deliverables with business strategy.
