The ideal candidate will have a strong background in providing mental health services, crisis intervention, and case management to diverse populations. This position requires excellent communication skills, the ability to work collaboratively with other professionals, and a commitment to improving the lives of individuals and families in need.

Responsibilities:

- Conduct comprehensive assessments of clients' mental health, social, and emotional needs

- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on clients' needs and goals

- Provide evidence-based therapeutic interventions, including individual, group, and family therapy

- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including psychiatrists, psychologists, and other healthcare professionals, to ensure comprehensive care for clients

- Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of client progress, treatment plans, and case notes

- Provide crisis intervention and support to clients in emergency situations

- Advocate for clients' rights and needs within the community and social service systems

- Participate in ongoing professional development and training to stay current with best practices in the field

Requirements:

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS: Masters or Doctoral Degree in a mental health-related field. Current and valid Mental Health Professional Licensure as authorized under Health Occupations Article, Annotated Code of Maryland and Professional Liability Insurance required. Clinical experience, preferably in a mental health setting. Prefer experience working with clients with complex trauma, substance use disorders, or severe mental illness. (LCSW, LCPC, LCSW-C, LGPC, LMFT, Etc.)

REQUIREMENTS:

Skill in applying varied interventions with individuals and families of various cultures.
Ability to work independently and implement time management strategies.
Ability to demonstrate positive team interactions with other clinic staff.
Knowledge of evidence-based therapeutic interventions and treatment modalities
Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse populations
Ability to maintain confidentiality and adhere to professional ethics and standards.
Proficiency in electronic health record systems and Microsoft Office Suite.
Understanding of safety requirements and the ability to utilize de-escalation techniques during crises.
Pass the agency’s background check.
Attend and participate in team and supervision meetings.
Valid driver’s license and clean driving record to support insurability by the agency’s insurance carrier.
Work related use of a vehicle carrying minimum of 100/300/50 liability insurance.
Possession of CPR/First Aid certification, if identified as required.
