Essential Job Functions:

1. Coordinate the day-to-day operations of the NSU MD Standardized Patient (SP) program.
2. Coordinate the scheduling of SP’s.
3. Monitor SP work hours to ensure accurate payments
4. Coordination of parking accommodations for SP’s participating in on-campus simulation sessions.
5. Liaises with pre-clerkship and clerkship course directors or faculty in preparation for SP sessions, including session case and scenario review.
6. Liaises with IT department for any virtual session needs.
7. Prepares and distributes materials for all SP sessions such as patient scripts, checklists, evaluations and schedules.
8. Prepare SPs for session encounters and provides any assessments of their work.
9. Assists with room and equipment set-up and break down for all simulation sessions.
10. Periodically performs checks on session equipment functionality and maintenance timelines.
11. Collaborates on the development and design of scenarios for teaching and assessment activities involving SPs.
12. Participates in the collection and analysis of SP performance evaluations.
13. Participates in recruitment and selection process of SP’s to the NSU MD program.

6. Ability to physically help with room and equipment set up/break down which includes performing activities such as walking, bending and lifting or moving equipment
7. Ability to lift up to 30 pounds.

Required Education:

High School Diploma or Equivalent

Major (if required):

Required Experience:

High School Diploma and three (3) years of administrative experience in academics, healthcare, business, or related area.

--OR--

Associate's Degree and two (2) years of administrative experience in academics, healthcare, business, or related area.

Preferred Qualifications:

1. Bachelor's degree.
2. Previous experience with Standardized Patients.
3. Standardized Patient Educator Certification
