About GenScript ProBio

GenScript ProBio is the subsidiary of GenScript Biotech Corporation, proactively providing end-to-end CDMO service from drug discovery to commercialization with proactive strategies, professional solutions and efficient processes in cell and gene therapy (CGT), vaccine, biologics discovery and antibody protein drug to accelerate drug development for customers. GenScript ProBio's total cell and gene therapy solution covers CMC of plasmid and virus for IND filing as well as clinical manufacturing and commercial manufacturing. In terms of plasmid service, GenScript ProBio supports the most clinical approvals for CGT drugs including mRNA vaccines, CAR-T in China. Job Scope:

GenScript is looking for a highly motivated and scientifically rigorous individual to join our MB R&D team for new DNA product research and development as Research Associate. This position will focus on cell free amplification process and QC method development for supporting new DNA product development.

Location: Redmond, WA

Responsibilities:

• Contribute in R&D projects with focus on novel DNA enzymatical synthesis method.
• Support developing new assays for supporting new product development.
• Contribute in the development, writing and reviewing analytical method protocols.
• Prepare technical reports and presentations for clear communication of scientific findings in the team.
• Monitors supply inventory and identifies any products required.
• Maintains work area, equipment, department and all storage areas in a clean, neat and orderly manner.
• Perform other duties as needed.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in molecular biology, biochemistry, related field. A master's degree is preferred.
• 0-5 years of relevant experience in nucleic acid delivery with hands-on experience in molecular biology research and development
• Direct experience with cell free DNA preparation is preferred
• Understanding and success in implementation of DNA-related analytics (gel electrophoresis, capillary electrophoresis, Qpcr, NGS etc) is preferred
• Works collaboratively with team members to support each other
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
• A sense of humility and an eagerness to continue to learn and contribute to a supportive team
• Must be able to lift up to 15lbs at times
