The role you’ll contribute:

\n \n\n \n

The Radiation Therapist administers targeted doses of radiation as prescribed by a radiation oncologist. Assists in preparing sealed radioactive materials, calculates actual treatment dosages, and prepares equipment such as immobilization, treatment and protection.

\n \n\n \n

· preparing room and equipment; patient and family communication

\n \n\n \n

· patient transport and transfer

\n \n\n \n

· performing radiation treatments

\n \n\n \n

· coordinating treatment and surgery schedules

\n \n\n \n

Qualifications

\n \n

The expertise and experiences you’ll need to succeed :

\n \n\n \n

· High School Diploma or Equivalent

\n \n\n \n

· Up to 1 Year of Clinical Experience

\n \n\n \n

· Kansas LRT State License

\n \n\n \n

· American Registry of Radiologic Technologist (ARRT)

\n \n\n \n

· Basic Life Support

\n \n\n \n
