- New hires are placed on our starting wage scale of $35.63-$43.65 per hour
- Based on performance, there is room to grow on our full wage scale of $35.63-$51.63 per hour
Work Schedule - Full time - 40 hours per week

With clinics located in Bellingham & Ferndale, we offer comprehensive primary medical, behavioral health and dental care, as well as pharmacy services to a diverse and often underserved patient population of all ages. Job Summary Our Quality Improvement (QI) Nurse is an opportunity for you to make a systemic impact on patient care for vulnerable and underserved patients by making improvements & ensuring best practices that result in better health outcomes. The duties include:
1. Providing actionable analysis of program performance
2. Facilitating communication and education of quality improvement principles and approaches
3. Serving as the population health & Quality Improvement (QI) representative on relevant committees and workgroups
4. Working with the QI Manager to recommend performance indicators and definitions, goals, and collection and reporting strategies
5. Maintaining familiarity with Health Resources and Services Administration (HRSA) program requirements, payor quality improvement measures, organizational goals and objectives, and other contracts or program requirements at the direction of the QI Manager

Requirements
- Current Washington State Registered Nurse (RN) license
- Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification (we can provide training upon hire)
- Minimum 3 years' experience with clinical systems in a primary care or equivalent setting
- Experience using Quality Improvement tools
- Experience facilitating a cyclical QI process, such as Plan-Do-Study-Act (PDSA)
- Ability to understand and respond effectively and with sensitivity to special population groups, including those defined by race, ethnicity, language, age, gender, sexual orientation, economic standing, & others
- Ability to prepare basic & complex documents in Word
- Ability to use Excel to create tables & simple displays of information as well as to analyze data including the use of formulas, functions, lookup tables and other spreadsheet elements
- Ability to create basic presentations in PowerPoint
- Ability to use Microsoft Outlook for basic email correspondence and calendars
- Ability to learn & use Electronic Medical Records (EMR), scheduling systems, timesheet software, training software & other programs used to complete the job.
Preferred Qualifications - Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred.
