Pay Rate: $22-$25/hour
Purchasing Coordinator Job Responsibilities: - Work with customer service, accounting, sales, and parts teams to create purchase orders, settle past-due accounts, and process return credits.
- Provide administrative support to purchasing, service, and warranty departments.
- Analyze inventory reports to determine reorder points based on stock levels and sales trends.
- Create purchase orders using historical data and sales projections.
- Research and evaluate vendors based on pricing, specifications, and service reliability.
- Communicate with vendors to track orders and resolve discrepancies.
- Generate RGAs for returned or defective products per warranty terms.
- Oversee online auction listings, including collecting and submitting product details, images, and specifications.
- Track auctioned items and maintain sales records.
- Log and track warranty claims, ensuring proper documentation and follow-up.
- Submit claims to suppliers for defective or failed products.
- Perform additional administrative and clerical tasks as needed.
Purchasing Coordinator Job Requirements: - Bookkeeping experience required.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
- Strong communication skills for vendor and customer interactions.
- Highly organized with attention to detail and ability to multitask.
- Capable of managing workload independently with minimal supervision.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word) for reporting and documentation.
- Strong problem-solving skills to address and resolve issues efficiently.
