Write clean, scalable code using .NET programming languages, primarily C# Test and deploy applications and systems Revise, update, refactor, and debug code Improve existing software Work closely with the development team to optimize the functionality and responsiveness of applications Collaborate with internal teams to produce software design and architecture Develop client displays and user interfaces Assist software personnel in handling project-related work and other requirements Coordinate with other software professionals and developers? What You'll Need? Required:? 6+ years of experience as a .NET Developer or Application Developer Familiarity with the .NET framework and SQL Server Knowledge in C#, PowerShell, Azure DevOps, Oracle DB, YAML Pipelines (Code Deployment), Git Repos, Dependency Injection, Automated Unit Testing, CI/CD Practices Understanding of Agile methodologies Strong attention to detail Excellent troubleshooting and communication skills Knowledge of REST and RPC APIs Ability to work independently and in team settings?Physical Demands Ability to safely and successfully perform the essential job functions consistent with the ADA and other federal, state, and local standards Sedentary work that involves sitting or remaining stationary most of the time with occasional need to move around the office to attend meetings, etc. Ability to conduct repetitive tasks on a computer, utilizing a mouse, keyboard, and monitor. Preferred: Proficiency in COBOL programming language. Knowledge of Integrated Database Management System (IDMS) and its integration with COBOL applications. Proficiency in IDMS Data Manipulation Language (DML) for database operations. Understanding of mainframe systems and legacy codebases. Familiarity with Job Control Language (JCL) and its role in COBOL systems. Experience with code translation tools and emulation software. Experience analyzing and translating JCL scripts.
