traditional marketing. This role will be responsible for developing and executing marketing strategies and campaigns using
traditional channels to drive brand awareness, customer engagement, and business growth. This role requires a strong understanding of traditional marketing techniques, consumer behavior, and market trends.
Job Responsibilities: In the role of Marketing Manager, the SPORC team member would oversee and execute a Traditional & Digital Marketing Strategy.
Traditional Marketing roles and responsibilities include:
- Managing and launching an ongoing postcard mailer campaign
- Coordinating outdoor media campaigns with vendors
- Managing the launch and execution of customer loyalty and referral programs
- Identifying and ordering branded swag for customers
- Attended tradeshows and conferences as needed
Digital and Online responsibilities include:
- Managing comments and engagement on review sites such as Google
- Creating video content for social media platforms to include video
- Website maintenance - ensuring fresh content is uploaded
- Maintain SEO for website and integrated content platforms
- Managing and executing pay per click campaign
- Collaborating with Social Media partner to execute content and engagement across focused social media platforms (Linked In, Your Tube & Facebook)
Coordinate and collaborate with internal partner to launch an ongoing E-newsletter campaign
What we are looking for: Ideal candidate will oversee, coordinate, implement and execute marketing & PR plans and programs to help increase knowledge and awareness for a growing recycling company that is expanding its business-to-business footprint. You will lead inhouse Marketing & PR efforts across departments. You will take the lead in executing target market strategies, editorial calendars, print and digital "story telling", simple video production (for newsletters and social media) and tracking analytics. We are looking for an energetic, self-starter who is comfortable taking the initiative to increase awareness of our programs. This job may require travel around the Houston area. Reliable transportation a must. Bilingual (English/ Spanish) preferred.Analytics tracking and reporting Establish KPIs & report out on them on a regular basis
Requirements

- Bachelor's in Marketing or similar field required
- Marketing: 5 years with corporation or ad agency required
- 3-5 years of executing traditional marketing & PR strategies
- Ability to work across teams to create effective strategies and annual editorial calendars
- Strong communication (written and interpersonal) with attention to detail
- Proficiency in brand awareness, email marketing, SEO, content marketing, digital display, video, and social media marketing
- Proficient with content creation (email, social media, print, website)
- Ability to analyze marketing activity, identify new trends and areas for improvement
- Familiarity with the basics of print design
- Experience managing budgets with measurable ROI or A/B testing

Work Environment - Prolonged sitting; occasional bending/stooping, pushing/pulling, and twisting.
