We are looking for a Logistics Coordinator to join our team! Here you will be responisble for supporting domestic transportation management and carrier procurement to meet all internal and external needs. You'll also be responsible for carrier contracting, performance tracking, freight payment, and freight claims managment.

Responsibilities:

• Assists Distribution and Logistics Manager
• Audits and codes invoices for all North American FTL, LTL and Parcel carriers
• Initiates carrier claims for lost and damaged freight and researches claim documentation through customer service, the DC and carrier direct contact to bring claims to conclusion
• Uses e-mail and other computer or web-based software for verifying deliveries

Qualifications:

• Extremely well veresed in the used of Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Visio and other computer software.
• Highly detailed oriented
• Prior experience working in Logistics
• Prior experience working with international shipping/logistics
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills to interact with customer service staff, the distribution center, carrier representatives, and employees of all levels
