This has the opportunity to grow into a hybrid role with the flexibility to work from home, but office attendance will be required. This position will be located in Cherry Hill, NJ

Kent & McBride, P.C. a Civil Defense litigation firm formed in 1994 with six attorneys in a Philadelphia, Pennsylvania office. Responsibilities:

• Gather evidence, evaluate findings, and develop strategies and arguments (including researching applicable caselaw)
• Make Court appearances and argue cases.
• Draft Motion papers and Appellate Briefs.
• Bench trials.
• Negotiate settlements.
• Work independently and in teams to complete projects.
• Assist in all phases of litigation including arguing and defending motions, taking and defending depositions, and participation at trial
• Report to partners and clients regarding case status

Minimum Qualifications:

• Juris Doctor degree. Licensed to practice law in the State of New Jersey.
• Ability to stay organized and meet rigid deadlines.
• 2-5 years of General Litigation experience preferred (Writing/Trials).
• Courtroom experience.
• Excellent interpersonal skills (i.e., active listening, negotiation, persuasion).
• Excellent analytical skills (i.e., critical thinking, problem solving, decision making).
• Well-developed written communication skills.
