Job Description

TTI, Inc. is looking for an EDI Administrator at our Corporate office in Northwest Fort Worth, TX.

The EDI Administrator is accountable for the stability, integrity, and efficient operation of the EDI information systems that support core EDI functions. This is achieved by monitoring, maintaining, supporting, and optimizing all networked hardware, software. The EDI Administrator will apply proven communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills to help identify, communicate, and resolve issues to maximize the benefit of EDI Systems Investments. The Administrator will be responsible for the research, design, implementation, and ongoing operations for the EDI environment.

ACCOUNTABILITIES

  • Act as a mentor and trainer to other administrators, providing guidance and direction in required tasks
  • Acts as EDI trading partner contact for communications set up, testing, and problem resolution for all Trading Partners
  • Ensures secure and consistent file transfers by following industry best practices in security
  • Assist with integration of servers, including database, archive and backup servers and their associated software into enterprise systems.
  • Increases operating efficiency and adapts system to new requirements by reviewing, analyzing, and recommending modifications to communications systems
  • Maintains and improves procedures by writing documentation to describe communications development, set up and testing
  • Provides 24x7 On Call support to cover EDI System Administration functions on a rotating basis
  • Participates in disaster recovery and business continuity planning and implementation

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE

  • A Bachelor's Degree in an IT related field is preferred or equivalent work experience.HS Diploma or GED is required.
  • Minimum of three years EDI Administrator experience required.

SKILLS & CERTIFICATIONS

  • 3+ years in UNIX (AIX a plus), including shell scripting and development with Perl preferred
  • 2+ years of IBM Sterling B2BI (or similar EDI translator software) or communication software like CLEO (VL Trader, Harmony, Lexicom) required.
  • Experience with XML, DTD, XPATH and other XML entities is helpful
  • Familiarity & the ability to diagnose issues with communications protocols such as sFTP, FTPS and SSH
  • Experience managing secure end to end server connections with trading partners (certs, SSH keys, and secure ports) preferred
  • Experience with BPML highly desirable.
  • Basic understanding of SQL and relational databases
  • General knowledge of EDI (ANSI X12, EDIFACT)
  • Proven ability to work independently and collaboratively
