Our client is seeking a dedicated and experienced Assistant Project Manager to join their team in New Haven, Connecticut. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in commercial construction, including interior renovations, and will assist in the planning, coordination, and execution of construction projects. Client Details Our client is a leading General Contractor specializing in interior renovations and ground up construction projects in the commercial and residential construction market. With a reputation for excellence and a commitment to quality, they have been transforming spaces and exceeding client expectations for over 2 decades Description Assist the Project Manager in all phases of project management, from inception to completion. Coordinate with architects, engineers, and subcontractors to ensure project specifications are met. Monitor project progress and report on status to senior management. Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies. Assist in preparing and managing project budgets and schedules. Review and process change orders, RFIs, and submittals. Conduct site visits and inspections to ensure quality control. Communicate effectively with clients, stakeholders, and team members. Assist in resolving any issues or conflicts that arise during construction. Profile Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field is a plus Minimum of 2-5 years of experience in commercial construction. Strong understanding of construction processes, means, and methods. Proficiency in project management software and tools (e.g., Procore, MS Project). Excellent organizational and communication skills. Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities in a fast-paced environment. Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
