We are in search of an Entry Level AML/KYC Analyst to join our team in the Financial Services industry. This role is based in Chicago, Illinois, and offers a long-term contract employment opportunity. As an AML/KYC Analyst, you will contribute to our Tier 1 AML project and be responsible for an array of duties involving customer applications, records, and inquiries.

Responsibilities:

• Assist with the execution of the Tier 1 AML project, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations

• Utilize Microsoft Excel to efficiently process and manage data

• Handle customer inquiries, providing accurate and timely responses

• Oversee customer accounts, identifying any irregularities and taking appropriate action

• Maintain up-to-date and accurate customer records

• Collaborate with the team to ensure smooth daily operations

• Demonstrate proficiency in Excel for data management and analysis

• Exhibit strong tech-savviness, adapting to various software and systems

• Ensure all tasks are completed on-site, adhering to workplace protocols

• Uphold a high level of organization and attention to detail in all tasks.

• Possess a bachelor's degree in finance, business administration, or a related field
• Have a minimum of two years of experience in the financial services industry, preferably in Anti-Money Laundering (AML) and Know Your Customer (KYC) roles
• Demonstrate proficiency in Microsoft Excel
• Understand and follow the regulatory standards and compliance requirements related to AML and KYC
• Showcase strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Have excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Be able to work independently and collaboratively in a team-oriented environment
• Display strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Demonstrate ability to handle confidential information with discretion
• Have experience with data analysis and interpretation
• Be capable of handling multiple tasks simultaneously and meeting tight deadlines
• Show a commitment to continuous learning and professional development in the field of financial services.
