The AI Software Engineering Intern will be responsible for developing/validating/optimizing Artificial Intelligence applications that involve AI development lifecycle to optimize solutions on Intel edge hardware. This involves working with various AI engineers, Domain experts, data engineers and data scientists, leading the model development and optimizations, report progress and subsequent deployment. You may also work on infrastructure optimizations and building end-to-end applications. The chosen candidate will also have the following skills in addition to the qualifications listed below: Willingness to present information and influence technical groups (SP) Excellent communication skills. Please note that the student needs to be enrolled for the full duration of the student employment. This internship has an expected duration of 6 months and offers a flexible schedule. This position does not qualify for Intel Immigration Sponsorship. Qualifications What we need to see (Minimum Qualifications): + Current Student enrolled in a Bachelors degree program pursuing a Computer Science, Computer Engineering or similar degree. + 3 + months experience with Python or similar. + Coursework in advanced mathematics or statistics. How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications): + 3 + months of AI framworks such as Pytorch, Tensorflow, ONNX and/or model training. + 3+ months experience with LLM's.
